We are proud and excited to carry our own line of French copper cookware made specifically for The Cook's Atelier. Our line is crafted by the makers at Mauviel, a small but legendary copper manufacturer in Normandy, France. The company was founded in 1830 in a tiny town known for over 800 years for its copper production. Mauviel embodies the French tradition of professionalism and timeless elegance. Each piece is branded with The Cook’s Atelier - Beaune, France. Like all great art, they continue to gain value over time.
Our collections of M'héritage Mauviel copper cookware combine two powerful and traditional materials, copper and stainless steel. All M'héritage products are 90% copper and 10% stainless steel. The combination of copper and stainless steel make up the thickness in both collections. - M'150 collection consists of a 1.5mm thickness and the M'250 is a professional thickness of 2.5mm. The copper allows for unsurpassed heat conductivity and control, and the stainless steel interior is ideal for all daily cooking needs. These pans clean up like a dream! The various handle options, cast iron or bronze, gives each range an aesthetic difference that meets the style for each cook. The M'héritage collection represents the total experience and heritage of Mauviel 1830, and is used by professionals chefs as well as serious home cooks throughout the world.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
