French Copper Jam Pot

This is an all copper pot for making French confiture, with shining handles and the ability to make us swoon. It is handmade from the 19th century, and is, in our humble opinion, the very best way to make small batch confiture.

The copper distributes heat evenly, meaning you can cook the fruit quickly, keeping it bright and fragrant.  

Cook's Note: Copper develops a patina over time, so be sure to polish before each use with a special copper polish or a combination of lemon juice and sea salt to remove any oxidation.
